VA-640
A Viscosity Controller that realizes accurate measurement without stopping, even in stirring tanks, by utilizing a proprietary casing method around the measurement part to suppress the effects of turbulence. With simple installation by just immersing the head tip into the liquid, its external communication functions enable automated control within existing equipment.
In the manufacturing and application processes of coating agents, liquid viscosity significantly impacts product quality. However, with conventional viscosity measurement, turbulence caused by stirring blades and liquid flow acts as a disturbance, making stable measurement difficult. The VA-640 is a Viscosity Controller (a set of a head and an amplifier) capable of measuring liquid viscosity without being affected by turbulence from stirring. Its greatest feature is the adoption of a "proprietary method of casing the measurement part". This suppresses the effects of turbulence to the utmost limit, realizing accurate viscosity measurement without stopping the process, even within a stirring tank.
Unlike conventional offline measurement, there is no time lag or hassle of sampling and measuring separately. The VA-640 enables real-time measurement simply by immersing the head tip into the liquid. It can be easily installed in existing tanks and facilities, and the length to the head tip can be customized according to the equipment environment.
In addition to viscosity display, the amplifier is equipped with advanced external communication functions. By utilizing outputs such as measurement values, upper/lower limit set value signals, solvent discharge signals, and external ON/OFF control, automatic control linked with existing equipment is possible. It can be incorporated as a circulation supply device that automatically mixes to a set viscosity, and when combined with material handling and an immersion bath, it can be expanded into an advanced "dip coating device".
Optimized for in-process measurement of liquids that require viscosity management during stirring, such as automotive board moisture-proof agents and coating agents.
